Please not set carts in or on top of snow banks. It will not be collected when placed in such manner.
Please do not park a vehicle on the street in front of the carts or place your carts along side of a parked vehicle on the street. It will not be collected when placed in such manner.
Please do not place carts under trees or close to mailboxes.
Please do not set additional bags of garbage or other materials outside of the cart, as it will not be picked up.
All garbage items must be bagged within the cart, including packing peanuts/bubble wrap, etc. All recycling materials must remain loose in the recycling cart.
Large over sized items and appliances can be picked up curbside by Harter’s Fox Valley Disposal for a fee. Contact Harter’s Fox Valley Disposal directly at 888-804-8556 for scheduling and fee information.
Recycling is mandatory and if it is mixed with regular trash, it can be refused to be picked up.
Do not place the following items in your garbage cart:
Recyclable materials collected curbside – aluminum containers, corrugated paper and container board, glass containers, magazines, newspapers, office paper, junk mail and plastic containers #1 and #2
Yard waste including leaves and grass clippings
Steel containers, waste tires, and mixed beverage containers that are primarily made of steel and aluminum – these items must be disposed of properly
Do not place the following items in your recycling cart:
Plastic bags of any kind
Plastic motor oil bottles. Put plastic motor oil bottles in the trash.
