Burning Permit

05/31/2023 – DUE TO EXTREME FIRE CONDITIONS,  ALL BURNING PERMITS WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR THE TIME BEING.  WE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN YOU ARE ABLE TO BURN AGAIN.

Please see the burn permit below.  As a reminder, Commercial businesses, including those associated with the municipality, cannot open burn without obtaining a DNR/ air permit.  Once DNR permits are obtained, we can issue a burn permit.

In addition to filling out the form below, the permittee is REQUIRED to call Interim Fire Chief Chris Hohol and the Brown County Non-Emergency Dispatch prior to igniting any fires.
