The Town of Ledgeview has received multiple requests from residents to allow the usage of ATV/UTV on Town Roads. Brown County has denied the request for use of ATV/UTV use due to the high-speed limit, curves, and hills. Without access to county roads, making it practical to allow ATV/UTV usage. This is a friendly reminder that ATV/UTV use on Town roadways is illegal and is subject to possible citations.
There are also a large number of golf carts utilizing the roadways within Ledgeview. The majority of the operation is being done by younger residents under the age of 16. Golf carts are not designed for street use and usge by unlicensed and inexperienced drivers increases their danger. Golf carts are not legal on Town roadways and are also subject to citations.
